Belinda & Tie: Together at last

So not only is Belinda Stronach promiscuous with her political affiliations, she's a home wrecker as well! And could she have selected a better mate than washed up hockey player, Tie Domi?

Back when I made a post on Tie helping her campaign in January, little did I know how much he was contributing!

Way to reach for the stars, sweetheart!

Call me cruel...

...But I think the 150 delegates of the recent AIDS conference who claimed refugee status should be unceremoniously kicked out of our country.

Don't get me wrong, I think HIV/AIDS is a horrendous disease and the epidemic in Africa is an absolute tragedy, but to have these people - most of whom infected with HIV - take advantage of our nation's goodwill is outrageous!

Now that they declared refugee status, they have been issued a temporary health card and social assistance. They will be given drugs that cost approximately $150,000 per person a year. Once they get their hearing after waiting a year, their lawyers can argue that it would be 'cruel and unusual' treatment to deport them where they would not be able to receive treatment. Most likely, this argument will be (quite rightly) accepted.

If we could solve the problem of AIDS in Africa on an individual basis, I would be all for it. But these people are selfishly looking after their own interests.

Then again, if I had HIV in a country with no treatment options, would I do the same thing? You bet!
